ok this is a real nerd blog post.
i’m about to rant about a popular coffee shop… lol
ok so cat has a job delivering news papers which means i have time to kill before work seeing as i can’t really take a bus to work coz this is duncan and we don’t believe in a proper bus system. (yes winnipeg, it’s true. there are worse transit systems out there!! lol)
so i’m all pro and i take my extremely dirty mactop (which i can only now see now that i’m sitting in the sun.. lol) with me to starbucks and with the last of my cash, much like a drug addict, i get myself my $5 coffee and expect to just connect to the internet.
but no. at starbucks you have to CREATE AN ACCOUNT!!? wtf and they give you 2 hours to use the net on your OWN computer then boot you off.
i’m sorry didn’t i just pay $5 for my fucking coffee?
